About Me

I aim to explore the connection between artist and maker through my costume construction process. With both a passion for making and designing, I have been able to explore textural making and dye techniques in unique combinations to create visually stimulating costumes. I manifest my love for making and designing through my exploration of various techniques, in pursuit of strengthening my skill base and becoming a well rounded costumier. From beading and 3D textural embroidery, to shibori and organic dyeing; I enjoy exploring new techniques in order to actualise whimsical collage designs.

Alongside this, an appearance as a finalist on The Great British Sewing Bee has allowed me to create a positive online community to share costume work and also explore professional collaboration opportunities.
